Then please see the Tab Control in the middle. In "Recovery" Tab, you can see the decrypting types for the documents with strong encryption. "Dictionary Attack" is used to decrypt the forgotten or misplaced RAR password by trying the most likely password combinations of words and phrases in the built-in dictionary as a password, which is a recommended choice. If you check "Brute Force Attack with Mask Attack" option, RAR Password Decrypter will decrypt RAR password by trying the possible combinations from the masks set by you such as digits, letters or punctuations. This option is for those people know some part or the length of the RAR password. When you choose "Brute Force Attack with Mask Attack (Trying All Combinations)" option, the application attempts to recover the lost or forgotten password by trying every possible combination of letters, digits and punctuations.

The "Brute-force" Tab serves for the "Brute-force with Mask Attack (Trying all Possible Combinations)" and "Brute-force with Mask Attack" methods, in which you can set the password length or characters. The "Dictionary" Tab serves for the "Dictionary Attack", in which you can set the dictionary file. In "Option" Tab, you can set the time interval of auto-saving for current decrypting state.

After setting all the parameters, you can click "Start" button and you can see a green progress bar appear at the bottom of the interface. What you have to do next is to wait until the password is decrypted successfully.
